Caller had distinct Indian accent, but perfectly understandable. Background noise sounded like a busy call center. Called my direct work phone. Caller ID showed as "DC Directory Assistance". I answered using the name of the organization. He asked to be transferred to to me, using my name. When I asked what this was in reference to, he said they had a package that needed to be delivered and he wanted to confirm my work address. I replied "She doesn't work here anymore". He hung up, then 2 seconds later the departmental phone line rang, same phone number/Called ID. I answered the same way, using the name of the organization. He hung up.
Telemarketer. Don't confirm your employees or addresses to these people. It opens a window where they can sell information to more telemarketers!! I just repeat, "please remove us from your call list."

They have returned. Caller's name changed every time they called in. Unfortunately they did nothing to disguise their voice. Asked for people who haven't been employed with our company for ages, so they can confirm information for a package the employee had requested. Interesting thing about it was they needed their email address to mail the package to a street address.
