Who called from 2025583142

We get calls from area code 202 every day of the week, at any hour, several times a day. Tried to block #, but they must have many. Caller ID says ALA, several different exchanges including 558, 650, 770, 794. We don't answer. We've been told it's a scam, how can we stopped these daily, annoying calls?

Calls consistently day in and day out. I won't pick up and will get my phone company to block this call.

Iwas getting hang up calls everyday from different numbers from area code 202. Two days ago I called back 202-558-3142 and got a recording saying it was the American lung association. I put my number in to be taken off heir list. Now almost 48 hours later I have not gotten a single call from area code 202 or any other telemarketer.
