The automated voice message left stated "The IRS has filed suit against you - call us at this number immediately". Of course I know this is bogus but lots of people don't and get scared or worse - they'll call back and get sucked in. The IRS will never call you. Make sure your family and friends know that this is a scam - particularly Seniors.

I have been called numerous times from phone number : 202-558-5660 identifying themselves as the Internal Revenue Service. The caller states the IRS is creating a legal case and I owe money to the IRS. Last call stated IRS has been trying many times to reach me to work with me to collect payment.
They called three times today. I hit redial on the number and it is clear they are a "boiler room" type scam operation. I called them back 10 times and got different "agents" so I kept saying was talking to Agent Jack Asss and got cut off so could they please let him know I called back.
