I had a missed call from 202-559-7622 and they left a voice mail. When I checked my voice mail it said something about me going to jail and if I didn't call them back they wish me luck. Some guy called supposedly from the IRS and said I did not properly file taxes from 2008-20014. I couldn't understand his accent, he was from India. He was annoyed because I kept saying I can't understand you and then he was silent and I kept asking him to repeat himself. When I finally understood him I laughed at him and told him that I knew it was a scam and hung up. I also filed a compliant with the IRS. This all happened today.... Don't fall for their scam. Its weird because I was almost victim to another scam last week... what are the odds???
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
