They called this morning and though I was leary, I called back. My dude had the routine down, gave me a badge number and everything. He also had a dick tone trying to intimidate me. My accountant told me it was probably a scam and coming on here confirms it. Thanks everyone for sharing.
So these stupid [***] clowns called me pretending to be the Irs. I kept this [***] on the like for almost an hour because they said you need to pay via prepaid gift card. I pretended to drive and whatnot. They were passed after I told them to go [***] a goat. I then proceeded to call them over and over, I think it was when I got about 20 minutes into my dog got his dick stuck in fence and I am paying for a vet bill " total [***] I fed these guys" they blocked my number. [***] with me! Ha! I'm damn near a sociopath, I will [***] with you and not feel one bit of remorse. All in all they are scammers.
Same deal here I think the Russians did it! LOL Then they sent a text that looked like second grader wrote so I responded with a good old F.O! Thanks for posting this but you only have to have a brain stem to figure this one out.
Just received this call and immediately looked the number up and saw your responses. So I called back and heard them out. I told them I had actually just spoken with the IRS last week and was told nothing of the such (arrest warrant for not submitting information) the caller hung up. I called back and let him know (same guy, different name given this time) that we had been disconnected and myself and 500 people on a website have all agreed to submit this number to the IRS as a scam and he said "Thanks for letting me know. I will make sure you never receive this type of call again. Have a good day!"
Definitely a scam. Make sure you call them on it so they can take you off the list. Thanks to everyone above who took the time and list this number!
