Sooner or later the odds are they will anyway. They use dialers and computers to call people up with. So don't be surprised, these scammers don't obey laws anyway. Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

TOTAL SCAM. The first time i answered their call they said I won a grand of 7.K and then I said how? They told me I got selected from social security and I asked them what was my name and they hung up. B****.
called shows its coming from Washington d.c. and they are the federal government and to call them back regarding a refund we are due from the government. They then tell you we are owed eight thousand dollars and to go to any drugtore walgreens cvs. and pick up this card with a number on it and call them at the store so they can put the credit on this card. So I call them with the card they tell me to get. They answer the phone and tell me to hold on which was about 80 seconds and a lady comes on and I tell her I have the card and she tells me that I am not Ann Griffin and hangs up. I was told from someone in the drugstore that the 800 number I was calling was a scam and like calling a sex talk number the charges from the two calls I made were going to be aq fortune.
Yeah I got a call from that number too and the guy told me I am able to get 7000 dollars. I told him I wanted to speak with his superviser and he said they didn't have one and told me I was wasting his time.

No real business uses them, and certainly not the Government. Wire transfers are to be used ONLY for family & friends, not the internet ones. A wire transfer is NEVER to be used in a business transaction, or to send money to someone you do not personally know. When this is over, go back to the drugstore & thank the employee for saving you from being scammed.
