Someone pretending to be a Dell support representative claiming my computer has software problems and has been submitting error reports to them. They also claimed that Dell and Windows has attempted to send downloads to my computer but were unsuccessful. In order to correct the problem they claimed it service call would cost money. When I asked them technical questions about the problems, they were unable to answer and were quick to exit the call. They said they would email me information on the problems and did have my email address. I never received anything. This man with an Indian accent was attempting to scam me. HE call twice using 202-580-8737 with caller ID of "Wireless Carrier".

The same thing except he called me of a 661 area code and gave me the 202-580-8737 him back which the number does not work. I called dell and me federal fraud number 1(877)382-4357 call this number you any calls like that again.
Sorry I was in a hurry typing so meant to say on my post was, got the same thing happen to me except the person called from a area code 661 telling me he is from dell that I have a error my dell computer to windows key and r which did gave letters type evptvwr and press OK which nothing happen I was really getting irritated. He gave me this number 202-580-8737 which the number did not work. I called dell support tell them I got a from person telling he works dell and he said I have a error on my computer she wanted to know my service tag from my computer which I gave her. She said it was a scam call. she gave me 1(877)382-4357 to report a fraud call. This number will help not a scam call again.
I just received a call from 661 -748-0240 stating he was with Dell and that he received an error report from my computer and wanted to walk me through how to fix it. I explained that I did not want to discuss this with him as he was randomly calling me from a Skype number in Bakersfield California, but that I would gladly call Dell back and ask for him. He said okay and gave me the number 202-580-8737 to call him back and ask for Jonathan or Alex. Needless to say I did not call back.
