I got a message from 202-595-7034 about 4 serious allegations against me on taxes due. I was suppose to stay on the line while I got the $1786.00 in cash to send to them. If I did not comply, they would send federal marshals out to arrest me at home or at work, and maybe have to spend 6 months in jail. If you disclose this information to anyone, they will come and arrest you.
Received robo call that was already in progress by the time my recorder began calling. Never heard where they said they were calling from, but in what we did hear they stated a case number against us. Then, as in the report above, they said if we did not respond in 24 hours we would be arrested and taken into custody by the "local COPS as there are serious allegations" against us. They said to call before that happened so it could be worked out. So awful! I could see me elderly mother-in-law being terrified by them. I just wish I'd heard who they said they were representing so I could report them.
I just received this message stating that the IRS has four cases with my name on it, and the sheriffs will be coming for me. Said that I should call them back immediately at this number. Well, who are they coming for because nobody has called me by name yet! Thank you everyone for confirming the lie.
Received the same IRS scam call as stated by numerous other people. Same deal. Claimed I owed money and if I didn't call them I would be arrested, etc... Bogus crap, trying to scare people into responding and paying. I ignored the call, and deleted their message.
