As of today 03-04-14 I have received calls for the last three days from this man with a very heavy accent says his name is Ken Compson, (from
what I understood) saying was from legal department of the IRS and that there is a fraudulent claim against me and if I do not respond within five
minutes I will face dire circumstances. The first time he called wanted me to open my computer. Has left three messages on my home phone sounding very threatening. I contacted IRS and they cannot find anything against me. Lady told me in
no circumstances to give this man any information and to contact the Inspector General at 1-800-366-4484 and give them
this information. The lady from IRS also said if I received any emails from this man to forward to Inspector General.
The IRS will not contact you by phone. They will contact you by mail and set up a scheduled appointment.
This number called and left a msg by someone with a heavy accent stating he was from the IRS trying reaching out about some illegal and fraud on my tax application
I just got a call from this number just like Slims, but they went as far enough to tell me that an arrest warrant was going to be issue, they had audit my tax return since 2008. but I could stop all of this by transmitting funds electronically of $2,223.91. So I called IRS and there already aware of situation. Don't SEND any MONY IS a SCAM!!!!
I was just got a call from the 202 number. I didn't answer my cell phone but the message was from a man with a heavy Indian accent he said my name & said my social security number is under fraud investigation.
I immediately called a friend who works for the IRS & she said they DO NOT call, they will send letters to you if there are any problems.
They are targeting seniors, beware
