Faked number - this is a VoIP internet call - they can make any number show up in your caller ID.
Scam "work from home" program. They pitch you on a four minute BS recording and then send in the high pressure 'closer' to get your CC, Debit Card info and then charge you up to $599 for their "program".
Their "program" is nothing more than being an 'Amazon Affiliate' - which you can do yourself for FREE on Amazon's website.
It is basically that you sign up with them, create your own personal landing page where people can then search through your 'portal' at all of Amazon.com's listings - and if they buy through your portal, then you receive a fractional percentage.
The reality of this is that you pay $300-600 for this privilege - and you will more than likely NEVER recoup your initial investment - but you will certainly make it to the all time sucker list to be called again and again for more of these scams.
Unless you have a wizz-bang website that draws tens of thousands each day in traffic, you stand NO CHANCE with this 'program'.
The reality of the situation is that practically NO ONE will type in
[email protected]/amazonstoreonline
to go buy something from amazon.com - they will most likely just go straight to amazon.com.
Wouldn't you?
Yes, they have a cute marketing pitch - but there is NOTHING to back it up. There is NO money to be made with this - except for the bozo's selling the program.
