where getting calls from three differant scam outfits.I go to gogle put in there phone numbers or the comany name .always find out who and where there located?
I HAVE LOCATED THE F.B.I BUREAU WEB SITE AND THEY ARE HAVE POOSTED A WEB SITE HOW TO HANDLE THESE SCAM ARTEST.BUT ALSO THESE PEOPLE CALL FROM MOBLE PRE-PAID PHONES.I,M WISE TO THEM.AND THE GAME THEY PLAY.OOOOOH ARE THEY IN FOR A BIG BUCKET S@#$%^&*()T WHEN THAY CALL
These people with a strong accent told me that I owed a debt from US Cash Loans. They had my social security #, reference names, banking information and my birthdate. I had a loan out a year ago that I paid off, which I believe is where they got this info.
They threatened me that someone is coming to arrest me at 11:00am and the names of my references were going with me. He speaks with an Indian accent and his name is James Miller and he is representing the Thomas Crowe law firm in Washington DC. I called this law firm and they said no such person has ever worked there and they've had many complaints of this man representing himself from their company. They have reported him to the Federal Trade Commission and asked that I do the same. The caller ID showed the number as 202-600-8292, but the number that "James Miller" wants to be called back on is 202-629-9350.
They've called me too. My family lawyer my dad usesltime said that they steal a snapshot of you financial information from something you've filled out online like credit card app or payday loan. There is nothing they can do to you. Even though they are telling you you're going to jail or whatever, my lawyer told me to call their bluff, when they call tell them they aren't getting a dime, tell them send the police and that your reporting their number to the authorities. I've been dealing with this for over 9 months and each time i tell them those things they stop calling. Then a couple months later they call again. My lawyer told me that the numbers come from coastal states and they use Exchange" numbers that make it look like they are calling from here when actually they are in a 3rd world country. According to my lawyer the government is having trouble tagging down these scam artists because they aren't actually on American soil. Uve been instructed to close my account, which I did, put my SS# on alert and I've placed lifelock on my credit report so they can't steal my identity. Don't give them any money, it's a bogus call they thrive on threatening you so you'll pay but they won't stop calling if you do. There is no debtors prison. I hope this helps anyone who might be worried that they can actually do something.
