I keep receiving calls from this number 1-202-607-2806 or 1-888-714-2338/BCR. They call and ask for my sister, who is so busy she is rarely home. So, i tell them that she is not here, can i take a message but they won't give me a name or reason for calling. They continually ask if her husband is home and i tell them that that is personal info i am not going to provide. Yet they STILL KEEP CALLING two or three times a day. They never give up. They need to be stopped, this is inconsiderate and total harrasment.
I work for a collection agency. Next time they contact your number advise them to block the number. Suzee the only information that they are allowed by law to leave on the message is there name # and can disclose any information because of the HIPPA Law Fair Debt Collections Practice Act Patient Privacy Act. All of these laws where put into affect to protect everyones privacy. Advise the person that is contacting your number that if they do not stop calling you will file a complaint with the State Attorneys office. and also file a suit under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act for harrassment. Also just to let you and everyone else know that if your receive a call on your id several times through the day it is called an auto-dialer where the agency computer is dialing in batch numbers.
