They called one day after about a month of continuos calls, and i let them have it. I yelled at the top of my lungs. saying "i'll file a harrasmwnt suit, quit F*****g calling me, this isnt (name they ask for) you stupid [***]." then i said "i called my lawyer yesterday and hes talking to a judge right now to file a harrasment suit on yall, so quit calling me if you want to keep your job." then he said "ok sorry to disturb you." AND THEY HAVNT CALLED FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW!!! IT WORKED FOR ME TRY IT!!!
I have been receiving constant 24/7 calls from Washington, D.C. 202-607-2749. A female asks for a 'J.D.' & I have informed her numerous times that a 'J.D.' does not reside @ my residence nor do I know a 'J.D' & remove my phone number from her list & do not call back. I am still receiving the calls, I answer the phone & promptlly hang up the phone.
If they continue to call once you have stated that person(s) they are trying to collect from do not reside there, and not to call again, they are in violation of FTC FDCPA regulations. Report them at 877-FTC-HELP
