Well, I'm upset! They offered me $7000. I want to know why they were willing to give you more! Wonder where they're really calling from, even though the number is registered oit of DC.
I have been receiving calls for two days now from 202-621-5429 and I finally answered today to speak with a man with an accent. The man proceeded to tell me that I had been chosen for a $7000 government grant and gave me a bunch of crap on why I had been chosen for this grant. He than gave me a confirmation code and a different number 202-697-9244 to speak with a Eric Palmer. They asked if I would like the money transferred to my account or "cash". I said cash and they proceeded to tell me that I would have to go to a Western Union to receive the grant. I am suppose to call back in 10 minutes to speak with this Eric guy but obviously I did my research so screw that!
Same call here. i called mr "max williams" back just to hear the rest of their bull. he reapeats what the female just told me then says i have to use western union so I can show id. He also throws in at the very last sec. that i have to send him 336.00 which they will refund me OF COURSE. lol The sec I said I will not send u any money he hung up on me.
You may have money that is owed you... your state govt will let you know. I don't know the contact info. but go online to .gov.... example... Connecticut.gov. I once worked for a company that had stock shares I never cashed. I went to a govt bldg in Connecticut and they sent me a check for the $1500 that was owed me. So... contact your local govt... you may be owed $$ too. Good luck!
I just received the same exact call and was told the same exact thing. I responded with "I want cash, what dummy would give you all their info instead of get cash" so she proceeded to give me a code and contact name and number to call. I then started my research and found you all with the same story. My contact name was Mark Bowman & contact number being 2027384185. I dont believe this crap and not to mention that I am suppose to be on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Yea right, that crap doesnt work either.I was told to call him time I hung up with this lady but nope I have not
