Got a call from this number from a Ms Wells, stating that she had a felony warrant for me out of CA. That I should contact one of the lawyers in this firm. No name of firm was offered just this phone number. I am trying to find out who this is with out calling them back so if anyone else has gotten a call from them please post. I found this very strange because I just had a background check done and nothing of this came up.
How do I stop these types of calls? Who do you report them too?
It is a financial crimes division i unfortunately had a same call there are attorneys there. They needed a statement from myself and had almost went to jail for not calling back..im glad i did..wasnt a scam
You are a liar and a thief. Debt is a civil, not a criminal matter. Although it would not surprise me if you have an extensive criminal history for a vast array of degenerate and otherwise reprobate behavior, it is not associated with receiving a debt collection call.
But thank you kindly for attempting to plant false information on the internet in furtherance of a criminal enterprise so we could call you out on it and expose your scam. Now, every time citizens who have the misfortune of being contacted by the scumbags at this number search it out on the Internet they will find this thread and realize it is a scam.
