This number left an automated voicemail saying they were from the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I called back and the person on the other end had an accent, they didn't greet me or answer my questions before the phone "cut out." This is why I don't answer unknown numbers, but I get so many every day from all over the US. STOP calling me!
Got a call from 202-640-0113 an Indian man stated his name was Officer James Thomas ID # IRM25922, stated I had been audited and was being charged and would be arrested with in the hour to 15 days, also stated there was a miscalculation in my taxes from 2009-2014 and I Owed $4800. I was searching the number on line and found many sites showing this as a fraud, called him out and he told me to hang up and he would prosecute me. Please beware that they will intimidate to get your info don't give in
This is a particularly aggressive spammer. They've already called me four times today, and each time, they've left the exact same automated voicemail about a "lawsuit". Lol.
