You confirmed that your number is live, so expect many more spammy/scammy phone calls, plus you now need to keep an eye on your phone bill because they will probably bill you for what you did.
I strongly suggest that you DO NOT CALL THEM OR PUSH ANY BUTTONS ON THEIR SUGGESTION! And if you do, keep an eye on your phone bill, because there is a good chance a charge you don't know anything about will suddenly appear on the bill, and you'll need to call your phone company to contest it. Scammers have a lot of ways to scam, and getting you to do something that they can bill you for, like calling them back or pushing buttons, is one of them.
Never answer these calls .By answering you just let these scum bags know that your number is a valid number and they will call you over and over again.Do not be fooled by the phone number on your display ,It is a fake one.Pressing 1 to be removed don,t work either. They might even make fun of you. They will tell you to take a short survey and at the end they tell you that you won a free cruise(remember there,s nothing free in this world) the catch is that you need to pay the port taxes only.So they will ask you for your credit card number.Never ever give your credit card over the phone specially to someone you cannot verify,They will ask for other personal info so if you are dumb enough they will steal your id.If not ,they will charge you 180$ for the port taxes for your fake cruise .You can say bye bye to that money. They will call you from diferent phone numbers but with the same script.Do not answer any unknown calls. You're already on their list of potential victims
