Just received a call from this number. Man with accent said he was calling from the IRS and that my name and number came up to receive $7000. I hung up on him and blocked the number.
.i don't know who this was that called, because I was gone. My husband answered and the man asked for Miss Donna. I'm almost positive it is a telemarketer.
Got a call talking about a 7000 grant for being a good citizen in good standing with government. Said you could receive grant via Western union. Seemed to me a grant would be issued by check, not through Western union. No thank you.
I answered this call they asked for me by my last name like it was my first name and it is not a name that you would assume was my first name since Leah is clearly my name.
When I asked who they were they told me the federal government in a voice that clearly was broken English. My response was yeah right as I laughed and hung up.
Don't know who these people are but I am calling my phone company and if they can not help with these type of calls I am changing companies or getting a prepaid cell phone.
By the way there was no caller ID then I got a call from Washington DC asking if I have ever had bladder mesh surgery I am reporting all numbers like this from now on to my phone carrier. Then I will call my state rep and use my voting power to get this to stop. Beware some ones up to something
If you answer they say they are from the federal government. The man who was on the other line had an Indian (as in from India) accent. I flat out told him no he wasn't that he was spam calling and that I am on the do not register list and if he called again I would hunt him down lol. IF you call the number back it says the Google subscriber is not available. So Google is giving out numbers to people who scam. NICE. Be careful peeps this is not a for real thing.
