Just received a call from this number. Man with accent said he was calling from the IRS and that my name and number came up to receive $7000. I hung up on him and blocked the number.
Yeah, I just got this call too. The only reason I answered was because it said Washington D.C. and my dad is set up to be buried in Arlington soon. So I thought it was finally the government calling with the details. I was really disappointed to be stuck with a woman from India and listening to her BS. But, I always like to see where these go. It makes me laugh. I sat on the phone and she gave me a reference number and some other number and then another phone number to call... 206-452-3388 to set up either Western Union or MoneyGram or something like that. Laughable. You don't just get free money for no reason. Ding dongs. I'm not calling that number.
Got call saying my government wants to give me a check for $7000 for being a good citizen who pays my bills on time etc. He had a foreign accent and had my name and address along with my phone #, asked how old I was and I refused to give him that information! Told him I didn't believe him at all and hung up
Just received the 7,000.00 giverment grant offered three ways money gram plastic card of mine or my bank account told them no thanks if the government wanted to give me money they'd send a check so he cussed like crazy at me and hung up
