Dominic Spencer..very Hostel.claimed to be calling on behalf of IRS. He said i had 10 mins to agree to pay money that i owe . Un true..i owe nothing. He said he had the local police on the phone also on their way to arrest me if i refused to pay. He was screaming a one point..i hung up he repeatedly called back. I reported the call. Im very upset..very. This happened today. Last thing i said was please dont call again ,last thing he said..was.. go F*** yourself.. These people need to be in PRISON!!!!
I just got a call from officer Jason Scott badge number MH#2563 stating that I have a warrant for my arrest because of fraud committed on file of my tax return and I owed $1790. He gave me the case number and warrant number. He said I have to options settle out of court and pay the $1790 or file a judgement against the government which will cost me thousands of dollars and possibly go to prison for up the 3 yrs. I was in disbelief. If I didn't take any of the options the local police department was coming to arrest me. I am really angry right now
Total scam. No one is the US is arrested for errors on tax returns. Tax disputes are civil matters and are resolved administratively. See my earlier notes. IRS has no authority over local police and local police are never involved in IRS tax disputes. Ignore and block these calls. Indian or Pakistani IRS scammers.
Invest in a call blocker. These scammers tend to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of hte immigrant community. Anyone they think might be vulnerable.
I have the same exactly phone call like you, everything just like this. While I am on this person phone, then I also received the unknown phone number incoming said that police, asking me give them address where I lived,they will come arrested me. I just hang of the phone. They are Indian, they speak English so terrible, hardly to understand
These dip sh*ts just called me and and claimed that there was fraud on my tax return. I am a tax preparer so I know that they were full of crap. When I refused to bite, he got irate and told me that the local police was going to place me under arrest. I told him that I'd be waiting so he hung up in my ear. Stupid...
