That same asian speaking man called me and said to send a donation of 160. to a third world country for HIV or cancer patients to receive my grant monies. so I called the better business bureau and found its a scam. grant monies are free.
Asian speaking man also called me. Said that I was chosen to recieve a grant of $10,000 but I need to first send a check of about $150 for a processing fee. I just hung up and googled the number. Like I thought, the same number is listed as a scam.
I got the same call today and with the same pitch, but he didn't ask me for money just to call back this number to receive my grant. I decided to google it and yes, it's a scam. When it appears too good to be true.....!!!
I wish the government would do something with these criminals!
