Someone knowing all of my info called and told me my local jfs had approved a. $10,000 Grant.....all i had to do was pay. $190.00 to cover the federal taxes or something! My boyfriend told me that it sounded like a scam. Knowing this number is a 202 pretty much confirms that! I usually will not answer calls i don't recognize...this one came up ALL ZEROS initially! SCAM...DO NOT ANSWER!!
SCAM CALL!!!! I got a call today; 12/11/14. I was told the government wanted to give me $8000.00 as a grant. All I had to do was give them a re-loadable card number or my checking account number. The government doesn't even want to give us the money they owe us and they are operating in the red.....They are not giving our money to 700 people. This call came up unknown, but they gave me this number to call back with a reference number if I had additional questions.
They tried to get me too luckily the girl at Rite Aid got the call yesterday and got other ppl coming into the store for a green dot card and let me know what it was. It's a scam and the name Jane White is what made me most skeptical. They gotta be more creative than that. I hope they get caught and arrested.
