we have been harassed by this number. This is a private investigation firm in Washington DC.
I will file charges against thsi company if we continue to receive calls. If anyone knows the company name please post.
Just received a call from 202-660-4053. The guy said his name was Gavin Parker (I think not). The guy sounded like he was from India. He said that he was from US Financial Crime and Prevention Managment. He said that there was a lawsuit against me which I believe this is a scam because I get phone calls from all over the US and the guy has the same language but at least 5 different names. I looked up the company name on google and there is no such name at all. I also checked out the persons name and I did not see an Indian speaking person on google.
I also recieved a call from this number same story. Washington DC investigator pressing 5 different charges against me. His name was Roy Wilson he gave me a case number and that he was investigating for a company called EME Marketing. It was really scary because he had a lot of personal information, Name social security# drivers license # address place of employment. I told him to get a life and not to call me again. He said an officer would be at my door or at my place of employment to arrest me. So we will see.
Calls from Mr. Mike/Roy/David/John whoever he happens to describe himself as on any given day... My attorney has advised me to hang -up, or if you want to bother to speak to them at all tell them they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act in any number of States...They cannot call you at work, threaten to arrest you, call your family or your boss or any other such thing. If you have ever had a bad credit situation (bankruptcy or failure to pay off a loan) this agency will come after you. That is how they know so much about you. I filed BK two years ago and still get these very disturbing calls.
