I GOT 4 CALLS IN 20 MINITES FROM A MAN WITH A WEIRD ACENT! EVERYTIME HE CALLED I WAS NOT THERE AND THEY ASK IF HE WANTED TO LEAVE MESSAGE HE SAID NO AND HUNG UP! IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIND OUT WHO THIS IS!
Got a call from this number today. New scam: In 2004, you purchased an Orlando Vacation Package/Cruise. You haven't used this vacation voucher. It is now expired. But good news! You already have a credit of 400 dollars. We can re-issue the voucher for you with just a nominal reactivation fee, charged (of course) to your credit card! Told her I was not giving my credit card number to her for this or for a Medicare discount program. They had our address, and obviously, our phone number.
Same as Dave. Said I purchased a vacation package for $400 in 2005 on my Visa (I did not have a Visa then) and that I never traveled so I could use my credit to travel to Florida in the next 18 months. I received this same call about 3-4 months ago for 3 days in a row until I told them to stop calling me. They also said I'd have to pay some $200 to extend my credit.
So, I'm 17 years old and got a call from these people, and it was someone with a thick indian accent. I don't collect social security, geez. I got my mother to come to the phone, and who would've guessed, they hung up...I can't believe they tried to do this, and to a 17 year old, that's bull-sh*t. Well I hope all these posts can help those elderly people who actually do collect social security, wow, just wow.
