I GOT 4 CALLS IN 20 MINITES FROM A MAN WITH A WEIRD ACENT! EVERYTIME HE CALLED I WAS NOT THERE AND THEY ASK IF HE WANTED TO LEAVE MESSAGE HE SAID NO AND HUNG UP! IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIND OUT WHO THIS IS!
While at work, I went to a 30 minute meeting. Upon return I saw 2 missed calls from this number on my cell phone. The calls were placed within 15 minutes of each other.
I JUST got a call from this number. The guy BARELY spoke English and I think he said he was from NBC. Then he mentioned something about a ballot that had been filled out and I won something in some sweepstakes. Then he hung up.
These people just keep calling and calling and calling. It doesn't matter what you say to them. I told them I will not give my credit card number for their stupid expired Orlando vacation package scam. I told them I will not give them any information so they can improve my Medicare insurance (although I am way too young for that). I told them not to call again. But they keep trying??? What particular kind of traumatic brain injury makes these scammers keep persisting even though they are faced by hostility and failure over and over again? Ahhhhhh! Has anyone had success deflecting these people (if in fact, they are people, and not zombies)????
Caller stated she was from Med Pro and needed my aunt's bank account information. She stated the government was no longer going to pay for her medicare prescription plan and the money was now going to be deducted automatically from her bank account by Med Pro.
Whenever you get a call or have a complaint, please make sure you file it with authorities. Also you can go to the Federal Trade Commission website to file a complaint.
