THERE'S NO NEED TO SHOUT AND TO USE SWEAR W**DS!!!! But you ARE correct that he is a liar and that this is a scam. And a rather well-known scam at that.
THIS IS A SCAM!! They stated that this is the US Government Grant Department and that I was selected to receive $8400 grant that I never have to pay back! I was then told that a New York Bank would be calling me to confirm my information and deposit the $ into my desired account. ***CATCH*** I have to send $230 via Western Union before the $8400 will be deposited into my account.
I had asked how "I" was selected and was told that it was via a survey and no one else can get this grant. I spoke to a "Freddy" (who was telling me all this) and when I questioned it he said I could speak to the accountant "Aaron Stone" @ 202-666-3342. The initial phone call came from 202-470-4838.
So glad I googled this number. I was very apprehensive about how I was considered for this so called US grant. I BEGAN ASKING A LOT OF QUESTIONS..............................What, When, How, Who.................the sales rep became frustrated with my questionaire as though she problems responding to my questions. The sales rep appeared to be reading off a piece of paper and when she was unable to respond correctly to my questions, she hung up. When I called back, the line was busy. I have been SCAMMED before, so these so called SCAMMERS can it up with me. My initial number was 202-666-3342. Beware!!
I keep getting a call from this number and they hang up or just listen and no response then hang up. Anything we can do woth people calling like this. And I had another call say this was an important call to call because they sent me a check and I cashed it and the fbi in after me. For what? I really hate these prank calls and sick of changing my number.
