Continual callings with a hang-up when answered,
When the number is called back, it is reported as, "We're sorry. All circuits are busy, please try again later." But it is NEVER not busy, even at 1 in the morning.
Same thing happened to me! More than just a scam I believe. They might try to use our numbers to do the same thing to other people. Check your billing and see if there are any charges you don't recognize!
They said I was given 8,000.00 from the government and I didn't need to do anything. I cut them off at this point. The guy was from India first. Secondly, our government doesn't give free money. I told him this was a scam call and to quit callig me. He chuckled and hung up.
