Received a call stating to return their call as it was very urgent. It was my last chance to lower my interest rate. I don't have a balance - no rate to reduce.
Answered call,a computer voice calling itself Heather said they were from Card Services. Hold on to talk to a representative.
When I spoke to a representative, they would not answer what Card they were from and proceeded to tell me that I had over 7500 in CC debt (I don't) and they can bring down my interest rate to 6.9%.
When I said that I don't have that balance they hung up on me.
Four years ago, my identity was stolen by this same group of scammers. NEVER answer a call if you don't know who it is. They need little more than your phone number & name to connect the dots & take money directly from your bank account.
