Received. A call from 1-876-896-2257 stating I won $750,000 in a contest out of Las Vegas. He then proceeds to tell me that I need to pay 10% now to collect this. He then says call this number 1-202-652-4280 and talk to a David. If I have any questions to call him back and his name is Mr. Washington. Caller ID says JM Kingston. The Scarry part is he had my complete address, DOB
I've been getting those calls too last few days. I was like tax fraud?! Like I don't have enough stress lol. Now I have to fight a case against the government. I hope you're right
Total scam - very popular this year, and the overseas based scammers are using it more and more. As I recall, the IRS even has some notice on their web site.
