This Fraudster called saying he was from the federal grants department telling me I was eligible for a grant being offered by the state and that they needed my account details. I realized it was a scam and hung up. They have tried to get back in contact with me to no avail. Now iv blocked the number as I have had enough.
Do not answer! This is such a scam! This guy with a mega thick accent called from this number, saying I've been choosen at random to get a grant from the government for $9,000. Like that's ever gonna happen.
Someone, yes a foreign accent, called me from this number and claimed to be from the federal grants department. I researched this before and was informed, as suspected, that this is one of the FRAUD calls.
If/when one continues long enough, it virtually certain that they, sooner or later, want specific personal information. From the posting I have seen, it appears, also as expected, that they will use different approaches. Talking about crazy, I told the last person to call me that, as I had been informed, he is a crook and drop dead. HE EVEN CALLED ME BACK TO FIND OUT WHAT I TOLD HIM!!
