Got a call from this number didn't answer it. But tried to call it back from a work phone and I got a recording that the number i'm trying to reach has been disconnected or no longer in service.
Total scam. There is no grant or loan. And they always want money upfront by untraceable means. Usually Green dot or similar cards. Or they'd like your bank account number. Ignore them and block their calls.
Received a call from this number saying that they were from the Federal Government Grants Department and they were calling to tell me that my phone number was approved for a $10,000 grant. I immediately hung up and blocked the number. Additionally, the caller had a very thick foreign accent.
Same thing happened to me. Same accent type also. Right when. They said government I hung up and they called agian. I declined it and blocked the number.
Do not know who this was; answered my cell phone (I use it for work), and this totally incoherent foreign-accented [***] spoke but I could not make out a single fricking word he said.
