all I waited long enough to hear was some jazz music playing - no time for that ! it was almost a 10-minute MESSAGE, according the email message (magic jack takes the calls). I do not know the caller attached to the number. I am so tired of being called by people I do not know ! up to no good, imo .
August 17 now - most notes seem to be March/April. Well-described, as a "push" junk call (or "political", if they're different), calling my registered "Do Not Call" listed, private # (which a PAC might actually honor?!) Hah. Who owns us? Who listens to the Do Not Call laws, especially among the lawmakers and their lobbyists?

Odds are likely that's where they're not, but rather a way to try and trick you into answering the phone. These are probably criminals, who are safely hidden far away overseas, and have no regards for any laws. Nobody said you've got to take their calls in any way and it's better you don't.
