This lady called me saying, I was choosen to recieve $, gave me a confirmation number and everything! I called the num back she gave me and the guy told me to walk down to a western union and send them 330$ for a security deposit. He said I will get that money back along with 7000$!!! I cant even afford a loaf of bread, nevermind 330$! Wow, I prayed for money but I really dont think this legit!!!! Any input ?
They just called me with the same scam. I called the number back and it took the guy a while to answer the phone. When he answered, he told me the same thing. I asked him " what since did it make for me to pay money in order for them to send me money". Why couldn't they deduct the $330 from the $7000 they were so ready to send. He kept screaming it's a security deposit to make sure I am who I say I am. I told him if he was calling from the government he should know "I'm who I say I am". He got quite. I said Hello! You could hear them whispering in the background and then he hung up.
I got a call from a lady with an accent saying that I was chosen to receive $7000 from the government. she gave me a confirmation number for her manager (johnny snow) and told me to call that number. I tried calling twice. no one picked up then I got a call back from a Florida number. I gave him my confirmation number and he had my address and all (so scary) he explained to me that I needed to send &330 through western union in order to receive my $7000 I told him ill call him back I said im gonna make some calls and search them up online to see if this is legit. he kept saying ma'am this is the goveremnt and ur gonna loose ur chance of getting this money. I said i'll make sure first he said ok. I searched them up and saw your messages about them. I called him I told him this is a scam. he started yelling at me and saying im gonna cancel your money and u cant claim them anymore. lol and he hung up on me.... please everyone be careful. im just afraid cause they have my address... I think they are Indian I can tell their English accent
