SCAM!! They want you to pay a "processing fee" via Green Dot Prepaid Money card and state you will get it back when you get the grant. They also want your bank info to deposit your grant. DO NOT DO IT. Read the warning on the FTC website about this scam.
I also received a call today from this exact number saying that I won a $9k federal grant. It all sounded nice until the man with a super bad accent (asian) said I needed to go into western union and pay $280 "refund deposit". I immediately thought "its a scam" and looked up info on the number and this came up! IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.. IT IS!!!
