Scam... scam.... they wanted a 300.00 security deposit but they would give it back after they western union me the 7500 GRANT, I told the lady at the 202-738-4039 # this was a scam she said how... I said bc u are asking me for money! I said scam!!! And she hung up in my face!!!
I received a call from this number, realized it was a scam when they told me to make a security deposit. So I asked what is your name to the caller and she replied with first name only (ha!) I asked last name, gave me one , than I asked what organization she was calling from and she hung up on me. I'm infuriated people are still capable of scamming from this exact number, ( there's comments on this forum from 2011!) this problem needs to be addressed, so I'm debating reporting this to the police (but am hesitant due to cops tendency to not give a [***]) all in all just dont give personal info to any strangers. Glad I saw it coming, some arnt as fortunate
They tried to get me to and almost did because 7500 sounds great and I almost got suckered in people people do research on this number 1 202 738 4039 it's not real people don't do it I know it sux but not real don't do it almost lost 300 western union told me it had to be a scam

I just got a call from someone named Robert who told me I had a free grant of $7000 from the Federal Government. The number was 0000121233. He had my personal information, such as name and address. Robert sounded possibly Mexican. He would not give me the name of his boss, just the number 202-738-4039, along with a code number VT901. I have not called this number nor will I. My assumption is that it is some kind of scam. How do I go about blocking such calls?
