When caller ID shows anything but a number or person I know, I pick up and immediately hang up. If I am busy I just let the answering machine handle it. It says, "We screen all calls. You may leave a message." They never leave a message - so, it is basically a non-problem. :)
Checking this out to see who this may be from. No text, just a phone number. Calls have been coming in several times a day.
Not sure that we ever "gave permission" for these calls....OR are our politicians also exempt from the DO NOT CALL laws.
Seems they are exempt from everything else they pass to make us miserable.
I am a staunch Republican Supporter and don't need any calls to help me with my decisions....thanks!!
I appreciate the discussions here.....too bad someone who makes decisions or those regulators who should be looking at these discussions won't do anything.
This number is among the many I receive each week sometimes daily. Yesterday I had four calls all from different numbers. I looked them all up and I came to a forum like this. They all sounded like me. They could have been telling my story. I am also on the do not call registry but it seems to no avail.
called at 5:50 pm, asked for a mr smith and said they would "update their records" when i told them nobody named smith lived here. we'll see if they actually do but probably not
Received a call from this number and they didn't leave a message.
Even if it is RNC, not mad enough to continue supporting massive Democrat tax increases, irresponsible spending, deeper - we're talking TRILLIONS debt, banking bailouts, back room deals, nationalized and inefficient healthcare reform (in spite of American MAJORITY against it), etc.
