These overseas extortion scams have been going on for at least seven years and keep morphing with the advances in technology. The best thing you can do is either ask your phone company for assistance in blocking the calls or invest in a device which can be programmed to automatically reject unwanted calls. We subscribe to a call blocking service through our internet service provider which hangs up on these and other unwanted callers.
This again is the scum of the earth. I did not answer, Nor will I ever answer a number I do not recognize. I hope their parts wither and fall off. When they die, I hope they get a continuous BUSY signal to keep them company for all eternally!
Just got another call from same number 202-751-2455 stating this is the final notice on lowering my credit card rate. This is daily, see my March, Feb and Jan complaints filed. I have repeatedly told them I have no credit card in my name and I am on the Do Not Call List both State and Federal. I have filed at least 3 complaints which included the excessive verbal abuse of profanity and sexual verbal attacks from these people. Now filing 4th complaint with FCC, FTC and State Attorney. I just wish our government would do something to protect its American citizens.

It is funny because they have a good english but the prospection is useless.
They offer you a card but, it sounds like a scam. I am old now, I don't trust the first guy calling me.
called Monday March 10, 2014 at 11:04am from 202-751-2455 stating he's martin cruz from the IRS asking for ******.
I didn't know the person so I hung up. Then same person called with unknown displayed on phone asking
again for ******* stating he's Paul Martin from the New York Police Department badge number 528011, asking
if I'm not ******, what am I doing there and if I am having sexual relations with Mr ******'s wife so we hung up again. looked up
number on spokeo and call is from Glenn Dale, MD 20769. Beware of scammer. Should be lynched or reported to FCC.
