caller claimed to be officer david myers from internal revenue service. recommended that i not disregard or else he would wish me 'a very good luck as the situation unfolds badly for me'
National Treasury Dept and I will have to go before a magistrate if I don't take care of money I "owe". Indian guy says he wants to help me. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Scam call. Message left on answering machine. Message indicated caller was David Grey calling re enforcement action executed by US Treasury. Ignoring this message is an intentional second attempt to avoid appearing before a grand jury or magistrate judge due to a Federal criminal offense. Said you are advised to call to have us help you. It is a scam. In addition, the US Treasury does not make calls of this nature.
Voicemail call from "David Grey" from the US Treasury with a slight accent making a 2nd attempt to call us about our "intentions". If we don't call him back we will have to appear before a magistrate or grand jury. "Help us, to help you" Caller ID was 202-754-8413 (probably spoofed). Did help him by filing a report to the do not call list and the FTC fraud website.
