Just received a call at my place of employee saying it was a call from the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me and to call them back. I know darn well I do not owe the IRS a penny so I did not call back
I received a message saying to call the same number and that a lawsuit was filed against me to call asap or my ss# will be frozen. First of all I know if a lawsuit is being filed I would first have to be served then I will have a certain amount of days to respond to such lawsuit. I am so grateful for my legal studies over the years....
Lady said she was calling from the IRS. Told her the IRS doesn't call people they send people letters and this was a scam She said the reason they're calling is because I didn't respond to the letters.
I do my taxes every single year. Money is taken out of my check for taxes. I get a refund every single year there's no way that the IRS has any grounds to sue me. Also told this lady she was a liar she kept talking I said Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar and hung up :-)
