This one was apparently a live caller, not a robodialer, since our system requires the caller to press digits on the keypad to complete the call.
The woman asked for my wife by first name. The caller identified her company as a health care advocacy company conducting a survey.
I politely informed her that my wife would be happy to provide non-identifiable information for a fee. She stuttered for about 10-15 seconds, then asked "You mean you want to charge us?"
I said "Of course. It's about time we started getting paid to deal with these surveys." She declined our offer and wished us a nice day. I hung up and added the number to our telemarketer block list.
