I had a similar situation a couple years back-them calling from about 3 or 4 numbers daily. I rounded the numbers up and found someone in the local office who cared enough to help me and the next day the calls stopped.
This scam continues to call me at all times every day. When I try and block the number the system says the number can not be blocked. Many people report the same thing. Can we have a class action law suit to stop this scam?
Please call the FCC to complain about harassing spam callers. The more complaints, the sooner action will be taken. The online form is:

This time I called back the number that called me and got an automated message. I did have the opportunity to have my number removed from the database which they will do within 30 days as that's what the law allows (but they'll try to do it sooner than that). Next I called the American Lung Association at 800-586-4872 and left a message with the operator to remove my name from the call list/database. I hope that works. I can understand the ALA needing funding and volunteers, but one call a year is plenty.
