Clearly a robo-call, with a robo voice reading the script. Claimed to be the IRS and wanted me to call the same number back so they could go over things with me.
I received a call first from a James Jackson saying he was an ATT. and I had won $450,000. from a sweepstake and I needed to call an Agent Frank Anderson at the Dept. of Consumers at 202-779-9591. He told me I needed to send $2250. that day for TAX reasons and then the check would be delivered by Brinks Armored Truck on 3-13-15. He wanted a form of payment NOW!! Credit Card or Checking Acct. tracking #!! I refused to give either. I said I would have to send a Money Order.--He didn't want that!! That told me something was wrong!! SCAM!!
