They left a message saying there is a lawsuit filed against me. Please call if you want to resolve the matter. When I called they said they were US lawyers. Foreign accent. Again.............Someone needs to find a way to locate these people and prosecute.
I got a call today from this number. 2027805625 I told the guy I could not understand him. he said his name was Michael from District of Columbia and I was being sued for my SS #, I told him I did not understand him, was he American and it was loud in his call center. HE got mad when I asked him for his Badge number and asked for a number to call him back on where we could talk where it was quiet. He got mad at me again and said he was going to have me arrested. When I asked him what for. BEING AMERICAN... I ASK.... he hung up on me...
When you call back, you get a recording asking you to state your name so that google voice can play your name for them before they pick up. This is a google voice number used by an Indian company to route calls to their bogus call center. When I called back I gave them my phone number and email and the Indian man I was speaking to told me neither was in their system and they "must have called by mistake."
Totally a scam.
