Most likely a fraud saying he is from the United States Federal Government stating that he will give me a 9,000 dollar grant and asking me to speak to his manager at he could barely speak the ENGLISH.... And my grandmother picked up the phone and gave her a piece of her mind
Called 202 780 6734 spoke to "Ellen " who wanted to register me to receive my grant of $ 9000 for a registration fee of $ 250. 00 with the New York bank.
Received call from 212-780-6734 asking me to call 202-780-6734 to verify a 9,000 dollar grant from the US Govt. The gentleman could barely speak English and kept asking personal questions even after I told him he was not getting any of my personal information 3 times.
Just got a call from a private number and asked me to call this same number as above. He barely spoke english so it was hard to understand him. He said that I was chosen for a 9,000 dollar grant and gave me a number to give to the "grants department" when I called back. I started asking him questions and he tried to avoid them, I was not giving up that easy lol. I asked the name of the business he was with he just kept saying the grants department. So I said fine what is the address for the "grants department", he gave me 200 S.W. Washington DC.. I looked it up and the BBB has this address as being used for this scam. Just be careful and don't give them any info..
