To follow up on my comment above, I had blocked my number before calling them back and they were still able to see my number, so use caution when expressing profane comments to them! :-)
Called back 202-800-5582 from my law firm office (49 second message left on home phone); person with Indian accent answered and said from Dept of Treasury of the United States. Mr. Daniels promptly hung up when I told him IRS only contacts in writing and his call to my home was a scam.
On 3/23/16 I received a call from GMI with a Washington, DC phone # 202-800-5582. They left a message on my voice message threatening to take action if I or my lawyer didn't return their phone call.
A voice mail was left on home phone. The 'officer's' name was Kimberly Jones. She stated criminal record (CF79621) has been opened against me. Phone number left 202-800-5582.
