They sent me the same message except they asked me to call them back at 202-802-7208 (the same number they called on).

I think it is a google number associated with a phishing scam. I will report it

I got the text to my cell phone from THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT  - Your card has been deactivated.  Please call 202-802-7208.  And if you're interested, YES, I am in Michigan.  I tried the number back from my land line and Verizon says the number is changed or disconnected.  Obviously a phishing scam.

received the same message to call about a card starting with XXXX that has been deactivated. Number to return the call on was also the 202 number. I am in DC, not Michigan.
