Who called from 2028027208

I got the same text. And yes, I am in Michigan. It said to call the (202) number, not the (989) number. The (989) area code is from the Bay area. I tried calling the number but it never went through.
SCAM.

Got a similar text that my card with TDFCU was deactivated... Only I don't have a card or account with TDFCU so I knew it was something fake.

They are now using the IRS as a scam I got this call 3/11/2014.   202-802-9892

Received call from this number promising a $200 credit from AT&T.  Said to go to web site AT&T200dollars or something like that.  I hung up.

Received call from this number asking to verify me SSN# ,  hung up.  DC number (masked) from MD land line ???
