received a call today 3-7 16 in regards to a so called IRS lawsuit. Why doesn't the government do something about this, this is so annoying. note: this is the 2 or 3rd time.
I received about 4 calls claiming to be the tax audit department of the IRS calling to inform me of a law suit that has been filed on my name. When I finally called back they immediately answered the phone "Hello IRS". I doubt it's that easy to get someone from the IRS on the phone. Then they told me they where calling for my brother who never even lived in my house. I just told them he doesn't live at this address and they hung up the phone.
Me as well. Too many to count on the threats, I reached out to the IRS and they will never contact anyone by phone. Only by USPS ... Don't be fooled by theses scammers
Hilarious scam/phishing caller. Robo voiced: "We are calling you about a lawsuit, which has been filed on your name. So before we go with legal matter and send this case to the local county courthouse, kindly call us back on our number...."
Yeah, like a real law firm would use language like, "Before we go with legal matter and send this case to the local county courthouse"
Not to mention that it already said the lawsuit "has been filed", which would mean it must by definition already be sent to the courthous. ;-)
