Got 2 calls from 202-803-5026 from person claiming to be an IRS Officer David Marshall. When I attempted to return the call I spoke with 2 other claimed to be IRS Officers who said they could not find my file; then said I must have been called by mistake. All 3 had foreign accents. The called ended by them saying "have a blessed day".
The 2nd call came later from so called IRS Officer David Marshall. I told him he was a fraud and his name was all over the internet saying just that.
similar story to the others, called my home business line asking to speak to my husband. Caller identified themselves as an IRS agent - Officer Kevin Morgan (with a foreign accent) and stated then need to speak to my husband related to charges brought against him. I told them to call my home number so I could get a recording of the call on my answering machine.
Yes, same story, got a recorded call today stating actions were being taken against me if I did not call back that number, call ended with have a blessed day. Hit redial but the message stated that this mailbox was full. Looked up reverse number and it said it was a Washington, DC land line number.
My father received two calls from this number today. Both left voice messages stating the same story , that he must call back or they (fake IRS Agent) was going to take legal action. He immediately knew that this was a scam, however this is concerning because their are many who would not know this and would give their personal information to these bottom feeders. I will also be reporting this to the IRS.
