Who called from 2028369679

Got the robot call.  Called the number the robot gave me.  Foreign accents with names like John Martin and Robert Peterson.  Claiming I owed thousands of dollars in taxes, that I would be arrested, my accounts would be taken from me, my license revoked. When I pressed for papers to be sent, that I didn't have savings, and hadn't received anything in writing so that they could continue filing the lawsuit, they hung up on me.

received a call from this number making the same claim.  told me my bank account would be levied, and I would be arrested for back taxes.

Several clients of mine have gotten this same call claiming to be the IRS filing a law suit.  It is a scam.  I returned the call which rang for a while but then a foreign man answered claiming to work in a certain office of the IRS.  I said "That doesn't sound like a legitimate business name" because if you call anywhere else in the IRS, they are automated or at least pick up the phone quickly if you're not put on hold for 30 minutes.  He immediately hung up.

Got the same robo call as everyone else about the IRS filing suit against me. I have deleted the Missed Call and the Voicemail.

I just got the same call and searched it on Google only to find it is TOTALLY bogus. Don't call the other number and report it to the IRS (by reporting the incident to TIGTA (https://apps.irs.gov/app/scripts/exit.jsp?des ... port_scam.shtml) and by e-mail to [email protected] (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')
